Managing sickness absence

In 80 percent of the cases there is more than a medical problem hidden behind the absenteeism. Cohesie ensures that a conversation between the employee and manager is initiated, so that the underlying cause is negotiable and responsibilities are shifted to the right place.

An illness and the subsequent problems are a given, but the way the employee chooses to deal with this is the most essential and crucial.

Do you choose to be a victim and to put your responsibilities outside of yourself or do you choose to make choices and take responsibility?

Attention

Isn’t this what it’s actually all about? And where often unnoticed too little time is made available for? Cohesie takes this time and offers primarily a listening ear. For the employee, but also for the manager.

Cohesie is also one of the few occupational health service providers where a consulting hour actually is a consulting hour, for both company doctor and coach.

That seems expensive, but does pay off. And what about the administrative side of absenteeism? We have also covered this particularly well. For example, we have put our attention in the development of a proprietary absence management system: GRIP. Because software off the shelf simply isn’t good enough. Even that is different.

Motion

Employees who are absent, often stop moving. Physically but also mentally. Everyone at Cohesie understands that getting people moving again is the essence of Cohesie. By increasing your morale, you are less vulnerable to stressful situations and will recover quicker.
